Fall's around the corner! Here's some recommendations to transition into the season comfortably and well.
1. You can never have too many warm, fleece-y throw blankets (well, you can, but I digress). This one comes in two colors. Heaven! Plus, it's under $20 on sale!
2. Ping pong away negative thoughts. According to a small study published in the American Academy of Neurology, ping pong (yes, that ping pong) "improves hand-eye coordination, sharpens reflexes and stimulates the brain," potentially relieving you of unhealthy thought patterns. Where's my paddle?
3. When the smells wafting from your kitchen no longer impress, try an odor removing candle. Instead of masking unwelcome odors, this soy candle made from essential oils neutralizes persistent offenders like smells from pets, smoke and food. Ahhhh!
4. A pet peeve. Ill-fitting masks. Try as I might, no amount of tying, scrunching, pulling and pushing gets them to stay where I want 'em. Enter silicone toggles. These cheap little babies save time, money and frustration. Pop onto your face covering drawstrings to adjust and secure your most important accessory.
5. We could all use a Zen as F*ck Journal, "for banishing the bullsh*t and casting your soul-shining light on others." Funny, beautifully illustrated and thought-provoking, this little book provides you with writing prompts and inspirational quotes to get you from A to Zen. F yeah to that.
