Recs - What We're Reading, Watching, Listening To (Week of June 26, 2020)
Updated: Aug 20
1. Pandemic Resources from Jack Kornfield. Jack Kornfield is a well-renowned author. He trained as a Buddhist monk in Asia and is a teacher, speaker, Buddhism and meditation trainer and more. He's created many free resources to help us through the COVID-19 era. I personally enjoy the Monday Night Dharma Talks he gives through Spirit Rock.
2. Added to our reading list: "Built to Serve: Find Your Purpose and Become the Leader You Were Born to Be," the latest book by Evan Carmichael. I had the chance to meet and talk to Evan on his #Believe tour last year and his passion for his message and genuine desire to help others was inspirational, so I'm looking forward into diving into his new book, which just came out last month.
3. Join A Wild Life Tarot on FB. Maddie Cartwright was a member of my group in the Made To Do This training by Cathy Heller I took earlier this year; it's amazing to watch her go! I don't know much about tarot, but Maddie's gotten rave reviews on her readings and she's so generous with her knowledge and resources.
